Martika Whylly is fiercely committed to guiding you to achieve emotional healing, and alleviating the pain of loss, so you can enjoy new meaningful relationships with a clear understanding about death and bereavement.
With five years of experience working with amazing clients with similar worries or concerns and guiding them to achieve remarkable success, Martika’s mission and commitment is to help you grieve with ease and develop a deeper awareness about the grieving process.
What lights Martika up about the stages of grief is helping people emotionally and spiritually heal after a loss. There are different types of loss, such as the death of a relative, spouse or close friend. Or even the death of a pet, relationship, miscarriage, job loss or personal injury. Martika, can relate because she has experienced many losses.
When Martika was fifteen years old her mom committed suicide, then her grandma had an asthma attack and died two years later, her grandpa soon followed. Her uncle died in a car accident, and father died of AIDS and then her cousin hung herself.
Martika felt as though everyone around her was dropping like flies. She wanted to understand why she was experiencing so many deaths, so she sought counselling and read books about death, dying and life after death because she wanted to understand the whole process. Since then Martika has helped many people look at death and loss in a new light.
Martika’s path to become a grief counsellor became clear sometime after she wrote the book Having fun with God. An autobiographical journey about death, loss and how she handled grief that transcended into peace of mind.
