“Grief can be the garden of compassion. If you keep your heart open through everything, your pain can become your greatest ally in your life’s search for love and wisdom.” – Rumi

At Grieve with Ease, Martika Whylly is committed to guiding you to emotional and mental healing, from the pain of a loss.

We work with people who are struggling to rise up and come back in the aftermath of loss, trauma, depression, and other big life transitions.

If you are looking for a professional who can guide you to address the feelings of grief, emptiness or sadness, sporadic crying, fits of anger and frustration, you’ve come to the right place. We work with people who are struggling to rise up and come back in the aftermath of loss, trauma, and depression.

Our commitment is to help you grieve with ease while achieving peace of mind and develop a deeper awareness about the grieving process.

What lights us up about the stages of grief is knowing that we’re helping people emotionally and spiritually heal after a loss. There are different types of loss, such as the death of a relative, spouse or close friend. Or even the death of a relationship, pet, miscarriage, job loss or personal injury. We all have our own way of grieving.

Here’s my story …

When I was fifteen years old my mom committed suicide, then my grandma had an asthma attack and died two years later, my grandpa soon followed her, my uncle died in a car accident, and my father died of AIDS and my cousin hung herself. It felt as though everyone around me was dropping like flies. I wanted to understand why I was experiencing so many deaths, so I sought counselling and read books about death, dying and life after death because I wanted to understand the whole process. Since then I’ve helped many people look at death and loss in a new light. My path to become a grief counselor became clear sometime after I wrote the book Having fun with God.
